From Survival to Service - The People4Purpose Story
People4Purpose isn't just an organisation; it’s a living testament to what happens when personal struggle is transformed into a collective strength.
Founded by our very own Landy Yeatman, the seeds of this initiative were sown in 2018 during her toughest fight yet, a diagnosis of Stage 3B Her2 Positive breast cancer. Throughout her treatment, Landy experienced firsthand the power of a helping hand and the warmth of a supportive community. As she found her way back to health, she knew she couldn’t just walk away; she had to pay it forward.
When the world came to a standstill during the 2020 Level 5 lockdown, Landy didn't retreat. Recognizing that many families were losing their grip on even the most basic necessities, she reached out to the Randburg community.
Because of this shared spirit, Landy’s work has been celebrated far and wide:
At People4Purpose, we believe that no one should have to walk their darkest valley alone. We focus on bridging the gap for less-fortunate families by providing basic necessities and a reminder that their community stands with them.
"I received so much love when I was at my lowest. People4Purpose is my way of ensuring that same love reaches the next person who needs it." — Landy Yeatman
We are a people-powered movement. Whether it’s through donations, volunteering, or simply spreading the word, you are the "People" in People4Purpose.
Together, we aren't just surviving, we’re making sure everyone in our community has the chance to thrive. Thank you for being part of the journey.
